Advanced Electric Motor

bZ4X’s electric powertrain delivers almost instantaneous torque for a thrilling drive. Front-wheel-drive models use one electric motor to produce 201 hp with 196 lb.-ft. of max torque, while all-wheel-drive models harness two electric motors to deliver a combined 214 hp with 248 lb.-ft. of max torque.

Battery Performance

With an up to 252-Mile EPA-estimated range rating for front-wheel-drive models and an up to 228-Mile EPA-estimated range rating for all-wheel-drive models, you can enjoy the fun of electric driving with the confidence of knowing that it’s a Toyota.

Traffic Jam Assist

Improve your daily commute. This available driver-assistance feature helps ease the burden of the stressful stop-and-go of a traffic jam by providing control of the vehicle’s steering, braking and acceleration at speeds under 25 mph. This system is designed for limited-access roadways while Lane Tracing Assist is engaged, and with the driver monitor camera confirming the driver's eyes are on the road, hands-free operation is possible. Traffic Jam Assist requires an active Drive Connect trial or subscription. 4G network dependent.

Advanced Park

Designed to assist you with parallel parking or backing into a parking space, available Advanced Park is there for you with the touch of a button. This hands-free parking system uses cameras and sensors—and controls steering, acceleration and braking—to help you get into that perfect spot.

Qi-Compatible Wireless Charging and USB Ports

The available Qi-compatible wireless charger lets you place your Qi-compatible device in the center console to wirelessly charge up while on the go. And for more versatility and added convenience, bZ4X comes with up to four USB-C ports and one USB-A port, so you can connect to and power up a variety of devices.

Flexible Charging

Power up how you please. bZ4X can be charged using a standard 120V household outlet (Level 1), a 240V outlet (Level 2) or DC Fast Charging.

Dual-Voltage Charging Cable

Every bZ4X comes with a portable charging cable with adapters that can provide Level 1 or Level 2 charging. So conveniently find a charge at home or wherever you roam.

Charge Scheduling

Take advantage of available off-peak electricity rates while plugged in. By using the in-vehicle menus or the Toyota app, you can schedule start and stop charging times. And if you need to charge right away, simply select “Charge Now.”

EVgo Complimentary Charging

Every 2025 bZ4X comes with one year of complimentary unlimited charging, with over 1,000 public charging stations currently available. Just set it up through the Toyota app, and take advantage of fast charging stations that are powered by 100% renewable energy.

Level 2 Home Charging

To take advantage of faster Level 2 charging at home, use the portable dual-voltage charging cable with a 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet or a professionally installed home charger. To help get you set up, you can use resources like Qmerit to find a licensed electrician, and ChargePoint® for additional home-charging options.

Clean Assist

Offset vehicle charging with 100% renewable, zero-carbon electricity. With an active Remote Connect trial or subscription and using the Toyota app, the Clean Assist program can keep track of the amount of electricity used when you charge; then Toyota will generate or buy an equivalent amount of Renewable Energy Certificates.

Level 3: DC Fast Charging

Under ideal conditions, charge from Low Battery Light to 80% in as quickly as ~30 minutes (FWD) with charging that equates to approximately 6 miles per minute (FWD). Currently only available at public charging stations.

Level 2: 240-Volt

Enjoy fast and convenient charging at home with bZ4X’s portable dual-voltage charging cable. By getting up to 25 miles of driving range for every hour you charge under ideal conditions, it can achieve a full charge overnight or keep you going by plugging into one of the many public charging stations nationwide.

Level 1: 120-Volt

A great pick for drivers who do not routinely have long trips. You can charge anywhere there is a common household 3-prong outlet, with an average of up to four miles per hour of charge.
