Nationwide Fast Charging Network
Access to the public charging network just got much bigger. Beginning Spring 2025, EV9 owners are expected to gain access to over 16,500 North American Charging Standard (NACS) compatible fast chargers, nearly doubling the number of accessible DC fast chargers to over 35,000 nationwide. Customers who take delivery of a new 2024 or 2025 EV9 on or after September 4, 2024, are eligible for a complimentary Kia NACS Adapter.
DC Fast Charging Capability
The EV9’s innovative charging system offers ultra-fast, DC fast charger compatibility. Using a 350kW DC fast charger, you can charge from 10-80% in as little as 24 mins.
Cold Weather Ready

Auto Emergency Braking Technology
Standard Auto Emergency Braking w/ Pedestrian, Cyclist, & Junction Turning Detection technology uses a front radar and camera to scan the road ahead for potential obstacles while available Junction Crossing Detection technology scans for vehicles in front that may be approaching from the left or right sides when turning through an intersection. Both are designed to alert the driver or, in certain circumstances, can automatically apply the brakes to help prevent a collision.
Blind-Spot View Monitor
Activated by your turn signal, the available Blind-Spot View Monitor displays a live video feed of your vehicle’s rear blind spots in your dashboard gauge cluster to help you change lanes with confidence.2
Parking Sensors
Available front, rear, and side parking sensors use integrated ultrasonic sensors to help detect obstacles behind, in front, and on the sides of your vehicle. If an object is detected, the system can provide an auditory warning or, in certain circumstances, apply the brakes to avoid a potential collision.
Highway Driving Assist 2
Using a forward-facing camera, radar sensors, and navigation data, Highway Driving Assist 2 is designed to help maintain a predetermined speed and distance from the vehicle detected ahead. The system can assist with steering wheel control when changing lanes (activated by the turn signal) with a one-touch button setting for speed.
Lane Following Assist 2
Available Lane Following Assist 2 uses hands-on detection to monitor the steering wheel and uses a front view camera to track lane markers and steering angle. The system can identify if your hands are off the wheel and may intervene with steering inputs to help keep your vehicle centered in its lane.
